We try to minimise wastage in our business — from purchasing to manufacturing, packing and shipping.
Production
We are slowly shifting to made-to-order model so we can distribute the materials evenly and only use them when there is an order. This also helps small businesses like ours to only purchase materials when needed. We use within our means.
Past sample pieces that don't make the cut to the final round (aka putting into a storefront and in a collection) are sold in our last chance sale. These are fully functional and wearable pieces nevertheless.
Natural gemstones are preferred as these come and go back to the earth. Currently we are using stainless steel and sterling silver which is recyclable.
Accidents do happen, sometimes our jewellery gets damaged in transit or in store. We will dismantle the pieces and reuse them in our one-off items. This gives the one of a kind pieces its uniqueness!
Sterling silver pieces that don't pass quality checks are returned to our silversmiths so they can recycle for future productions.
Packaging
We recommend customers to reuse before you recycle. Read more about our packaging here. The box and paper wrap is recyclable. We also use reusable cotton pouches and resealable ziplock bags to minimise single use plastic.
*random note: I would like to thank my friends for donating bubble wraps in the past so I could use them for our mailing! Thank you!

Earring cards returned from our stockists and pop-ups are reused to hold the earrings for your order. If you mind the used labels and you are ordering as a gift, please request for a new one (on the order note) and we will be happy to change it out for you.
